General Section Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the La Quinta on Rte. 46 in Fairfield unless other plans are made. Meetings begin at 6:00 PM with dinner at 6:30 PM and the program at 7:30 PM.

BIOGRAPHY

As Director of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment for SGS US Testing Company, Inc., Russell Nichols runs a very diverse QHSE program for four facilities with accreditations to various Quality System standards including ISO/IEC 17025 for testing, ISO/IEC 17020 for inspection and ISO Guide 65 for product certification, plus programs for HS & E. As an author, he has contributed over 30 publications (including chapters in two text books), mostly in the field of polymer processing, but also including several presentations in the Quality field. Mr. Nichols is a licensed professional engineer (PE), has a B.S. degree in Management, is a fellow of the Society of Plastics Engineers, hold multiple ASQ certifications (CMQ/OE, CQE, and CQA) and serves on the executive board of ASQ-NJ.
