A gentleman presented his services for free as consultant for various types of audits and he is seeking permission to make a 5 minute presentation to the general section. Board voted to approve this but his services must be "Free of charge with no strings attached" |

50% of the section is due for renewal in June. ASQ HQ is currently at a 32% renewal rate. This has serious implications for the section. Membership will put out a plan to attack this. With HQ now using Qualtrix survey group the section now has flexibility in gathering information. Burt Simpson voted on to be VOC. Motion passed. Congratulations Burt. New members to have mentors? Give a free admittance to certification exam test-takers? |

| Scholarship | Ed May | Applications are now being accepted for the 2010 Larry Turbett Scholarship. The 2010 Scholarship Rules and 2010 Scholarship Application Form are posted at www.asqnorthjersey.org. Application Deadline is April 30th. Award will be given at the May 19 General Meeting. Some applications have been received. See Ed May if questions. | |

| Spring Quality Conference | Lucy Kahn | Website updated. Final meeting before the conference has occurred. It was voted on that unemployed persons and students could attend the conference and future conferences at a discount price of $200. This covers costs for the chapter. Proof of their status will have to be displayed to prevent fraud. "LINKED IN" account to be established. | |
| NEQC | S. Liebesman | The bi-annual conference is on track. The 58th NEQC conference is on October 19-20, 2010 Best Western Royal Plaza, 181 Boston Post Road West ( Rt 20 West) Marlborough, Massachusetts. Seminars are on October 18 and 21-22. See more details within the ASQ HQ website (www.neqc.org//conference/58/). Future topics for Section 304 meetings includes risk management and sustainability. | |
