Call to Order/Roll Call 19:05 Wayne Merrifield Wayne called the meeting to order. Introductions made to Will Jamison, the treasurer for next year.

Nanuet, NY has upcoming training for Officers in June 2009. Lucy will send this information to Wayne. Hank Nanke is not feeling well; Paul Nair has agreed to be the new Recertification chair. Nothing else to report. No new news from ASQ National or Regional.

Treasurer Report  

Sue Serradilla-Smarth

 SQC Reconciliation Report will be created to compare success of this years SQC vs. past years. Susan indicated that we are not taking in enough money to cover monthly dinners.
Education   C. Perini

Report given by Joel Schwartzman. Bergen County Community College has expressed interest in a joint program with us. Lengthy discussion about classes. Several "larger contracts" in the proposal stage for Praxair, Picatinny, Stryker and Hitronics.

Recertification   Hank Nanke

Paul Nair was agreed to take over as Recertification chair. Elijah Iman interested in helping out.

Motion was unanimously passed to bolster this portion of the section. The "statistics" will no longer be presented. Mulraj will create a "ASQ 304" Linked in profile. We may post jobs at meetings as done in the past. Ed May will speak to Ralph. Becker interested in helping. Website to also be improved to support these efforts.

New Officers to be announced at the May meeting. SMP is now called QMP.
Membership   Stephen Becker

Susan Smarth will take over as Membership chair. Information transferred to her by Becker.
Scholarship   Ed May Team includes Ed May, Russ Nichols, Courtney Chronly. Award to be given at May General Section meeting. Winner selected out of six applicants.
Member Survey   Stephen Becker 18 surveys were received not 28. Typo. Analysis read at meeting. Further analysis to be done by Ed May.

Spring Quality Conference   Lucy Kahn Conference successful! Everybody pleased. Next conference set for April 15, 2010. Planning already underway.
