General Section Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the La Quinta on Rte. 46 in Fairfield unless other plans are made. Meetings begin at 6:00 PM with dinner at 6:30 PM and the program at 7:30 PM.

Risk Management:
A Must in Today's Global Economy

The global economy provides many new opportunities that didn't exist ten years ago. But it also has resulted in many risks because of the flattening of the Earth via the internet and outsourcing. An assessment process for managing risk consists of defining the organization's objectives, specifying risk categories, identifying risks to the objectives and specifying methods of managing risk. I will describe commonly used risk management tools that can be used to support risk management.
