General Section Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the La Quinta on Rte. 46 in Fairfield unless other plans are made. Meetings begin at 6:00 PM with dinner at 6:30 PM and the program at 7:30 PM.

Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008

The US Congress enacted the Consumer Product safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) of 2008 of August 14, 2008 in response to growing public concerns over product safety, and in particular children's products.
As a result of this act, new mandatory safety testing and certification requirements have been put in place and more change is coming.
